It's time for humans to live, work and learn differently. As a remote team who live by their values, our focus is on creating a digital public space where humans can gather with purpose.
We believe that the wisdom from our physical environments can help guide us in creating better digital spaces. Too many of our virtual spaces are privately owned and we want that to change.
Since 2015 we have been hosting groups in digital spaces to work, learn, develop, create movements, solve problems and more. As hosts we take great pride in the art of facilitation. Over the years we've experimented with multiple platforms and became convinced there there had to be more to video technology than a telephone call where you can see each-other. And so our journey began.

In early 2019 Tula was born on a design thinking accelerator in partnership with the V&A design school. We built and tested the first prototype and jumped full-time into bringing it to the world. Now we are in the firth iteration and Tula.world aims to open its digital doors in Summer 2020.
We operate as an open collective that aims to place purpose above profit. Models such as steward-ownership get us excited as they align with the value we want to see in the world.
We call ourself a social software as a service (SSAAS)
We’re for people and planet. We want our services to be accessible – free wherever they can be.
Our focus is on impact before profit.
We work towards the UN's sustainable development goals and follow the golden rule.
